Make Mental Health A Part Of Your Training

Mental Health has a large impact on performance. High-profile athletes are making mental health a priority and part of their training.

Student-athletes face immense demands including daily practices, travel, private training, strength and conditioning, physical therapy, as well as completing school work. This often leaves little time for social interactions or time for oneself.

As a former collegiate soccer player, I understand the unique pressures and challenges we face as competitive athletes. The demands and expectations to succeed, both from ourselves and others drive us to a breaking point. Learning to manage and cope with these demands is my goal at Bridging the Gap CC.
